Construction to widen Interstate 30 to six lanes in Saline County requires overnight lane closures. Weather permitting, eastbound and westbound I-30 will alternately close lanes in various areas between Sevier Street/South Street (Exit 116) and the U.S. Hwy. 70 interchange (Exit 111) for pavement striping, barrier wall placement and pavement operations. Lane closures will occur Sunday night, June 16 through Saturday morning, June 22 during nighttime hours.
•Westbound I-30 will alternately close the inside and outside lanes between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
•Eastbound I-30 will alternately close the inside and outside lanes between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
Interstate traffic will be controlled with construction barrels and signage. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone. Areas adjacent to the interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.
