Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are our POA dues used for?

A: POA dues are used for a lot more than the pool.  Your dues are used for these and other recurring expenses:

1) Utilities for street lights in the neighborhood, entrance sign lights, pool area lights, and pool building.

2) Grounds maintenance for common areas.  Includes mowing, landscaping, and irrigation, tree trimming.

3) Pool and Pavilion, including financing as well as upkeep.

4) General maintenance

5) Upkeep of neighborhood (replacing worn out signs, replacing pool chairs, etc..)

Q: I don’t use the pool.  Do I have to pay my POA dues?

A: As noted above, your dues go to a lot more than just the pool.  Everyone in the neighborhood is required to pay their annual POA dues.

Q: I never received a key to the pool when I bought my house. How do I get a key to the pool? Is there a cost associated?

A: You should have received a pool key fob when you closed on your house.  If you did not, please contact a member of the POA Board who can get you a key free of charge. If you have a key, it must be registered and activated by contacting a board member. Only one key per address will be issued.  Contact info available here: Board Members

Q: I lost my key to the pool, how do I get a replacement? How much does that cost?

A: Please contact a member of the POA Board for a replacement key.  The cost for a replacement key is $40.  Contact info available here: Board Members

Q: My neighbor is parking on the sidewalk. What can I do?

A: If you are comfortable talking to your neighbor, please have a conversation with them.  If the problem persists, feel free to contact the code enforcement division of the Benton Police department.  It is against Benton city code to park on the sidewalk. 501-778-1171

Q: There is a street light out near my house, who should I contact?

A: There are two utilities that serve Heritage Farm, Benton Utilities and First Electric.  Generally, if the light is near your house, it will be served by the same utility as your home.

Q: Are POA Board members paid or compensated in any way?

A: No.  POA Board members are volunteers and not compensated in any way.

Q: I need to replace my mail box post, where do I go?

A: At Lowes
